Frozen-at-Sea Greenland Halibut
Greenland Halibut (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides) is a deepwater fish trawl caught in the waters around Greenland. Although it is a flat fish, its firm white meat makes it appropriate for all types of cooking.
Greenland Halibut is J-cut, vertical frozen and packed in 6 kg or 12 kg block cartons, for the 6 kg blocks, three blocks are paced in a master carton. It is graded in following sizes: Less than 0.5 kg, 0.5–1 kg, 1–2 kg, 2–3 kg, 3–5 kg, and +5 kg.
